with a quick burst of speed, she broke away from her opponents and leaped into the air, the ball in her hand.
time seemed to slow down as she released the ball, watching as it spun through the air towards the hoop.
it hit the backboard and bounced once, twice, and then swished through the net.
the crowd erupted into cheers as the buzzer sounded, signaling the end of the game. y/n had done it - she had scored the winning point!
overwhelmed with emotion, she froze and watched as the ball bounced away. her teammates ran to her and hugged her tightly, jumping around in circles and celebrating.
she smiled seeing the joy on their faces. yujin then pushed everyone aside, gesturing y/n to go to hanni.
y/n saw hanni,giving her a cute smile and thumbs up.
y/n slowly made her way up the stairs as everyone applauded.
"oh my god! this is the moment! she is coming to me!" wonyoung excitedly shook chaewon's shoulder.
her face immediately changed when y/n walked past her.
"oh."
y/n ignored her and continued going to hanni.
"hey," she said when she reached hanni. "you did it," hanni said and cupped y/n's cheeks.
"I did."
"so what's your wish? you said you'll tell me here."
"... this is my wish," y/n said and leaned in to kiss hanni. hanni's eyes widened but she instinctively pulled y/n closer.
their lips met in a gentle and sweet kiss, the culmination of y/n's long-standing crush on hanni.
the kiss deepened as hanni opened her mouth slightly, letting y/n slide her tongue in. hanni sucked on her tongue as y/n's fingers tangled in her hair.
the kiss grew even more intense. they pressed their bodies closer together, their breaths mingling as their tongues danced in a passionate embrace.
the world around them faded away, and all they could feel was the warmth of each other's lips. y/n's heart was pounding in her chest, and she never wanted this moment to end.
after minutes of sucking each other's faces, they finally broke the kiss, gasping for air and looking intoeach other's eyes. y/n's cheeks were flushed, and she was smiling from ear to ear.
the moment felt like it was just the two of them, lost in their own world, oblivious to the cheering crowd and the celebration happening around them.
"is that your wish?" hanni asked grinning, her hand caressing y/n's cheeks.
y/n nodded, still breathless from the kiss. "yes, it is," she said, feeling her heart swell with happiness.
hanni leaned in and gave her another quick peck on the lips. "consider it granted," she said with a wink.
y/n felt her cheeks turn even redder, and she couldn't help but giggle. she looked over to her teammates, who were still celebrating and jumping around.
"come on, let's go celebrate with them," y/n said, pulling hanni with her. they intertwined their hands and made their way down.
