Chapter 36: The Federations

Geralt and Dave were leaving Daltial when Alvyn stopped them. Alvyn had a serious face.
-Alvyn: Hey. Before leaving, won't you want to learn about the federations?
-Geralt: Like the German Guild Alliance? It is a federation?
-Alvyn: Yes. Better said it was a part of a federation. The EGA. European Guild Alliance.
-Geralt: What happened?
-Alvyn: I and many people of germany were unhappy in the EGA, so we left and created our own federation, the GGA.
-Dave: But that doesn't explain why the GGA hated the fairies.
-Alvyn: That happened in the first guild war. Yes, there was a guild war. Two for being exact. One in the alpha test, another in the Beta. I never participated in any of them as a member of the EGA or as a member of the GGA.
-Geralt: What happened in the first guild war?
-Alvyn: The fairies created their own alliance of guilds, their own federation. The Fairy Empire. The leader was a close friend of Duraralt, Hellsing. And of course, Duraralt at first helped him. But time after the other federations asked to dismantle the Fairy Empire. Hellsing was totally against the choice and decided to attack first. He destroyed 3 cities of the EGA in no time thanks to the great army of fairies there. Duraralt after the first attack left. He tried to talk with all the other federations to stop this war but it didn't work. But Duraralt found people that helped him to stop the war. Blaft, Yatagarasu and me as the first ones. Later Vilge and Minnie. And then Oboro. Later the rest of us. All the 14 members of our group, Angel's paradise.
-Geralt: You were one of the first members of Duraralt's team?
-Alvyn: Yeah. And I saw how the most veteran fairies discriminated him. After defeating the Fairy Empire, the ones that were with Hellsing gave Duraralt the title of Traitor of Heavens. After that he wasn't welcomed in any fairy town.
-Dave: But now, the people call him Fairy King.
-Alvyn: That is for what happened at the second war. We fought again against the world, trying to stop another war. The GGA decided to attack all the fairies and take out their wings, putting them in their people and make the fairy race useless. As a way to prevent further attacks from the fairies. It was brutal. Angel's Paradise stopped the war and after the guilds that are big now appeared and with the weakened federations, we made the World Council. And here we reach the important part. (Gives a letter to Geralt) As a GM and member of Angel's Paradise, I hereby give you access to the next World Council that will have place in Bradtiel after the surprise event. You must bring two bodyguards, anyone of your guild. But I ask you to take Duraralt. The issue that will be talked in that World Council can cause a war. I cannot let a war happen again. Warn me if he says no.
-Geralt: How?
-Alvyn: I'm a Psyren too. Yes, my magic of teleport is a skill of Psyren. Also I can read minds, and mostly use my mind to create psy blasts, move things and more. Think in my name and I'll be able to contact you. Psyren is more of a scout and contact skill.
-Geralt: Where I could find Psyren people?
-Alvyn: Psyren are quite rare to find... Because this skill is special. It has a secret requirement, you need a secret stat that appears at a random rate when you start. It's called determination. If you have 20 or more of determination, you can use Psyren skill. But in my case, I have 80 of determination. In that situation, Psyren turns out in a great skill and I have greater area of teleport and greater range. With the use of Psyren skills, you can increase your determination, but almost never no one has achieved 80 of determination, neither by talent or training. But, if you go to Gretiel you'll find the Psy Academy. There are great Psyren. Now I must go. Minnie and Vilge don't know that I went to talk with you. And is better this way, believe me.

Alvyn leaves walking and Dave and Geralt start returning to the Alpha Wolf Castle.
Meanwhile, at the castle, every crafter is crafting and every chef is cooking. They are trying to make the best things before the event starts. Duraralt made a lot of S class armors for the principal members of Diamond Wolfves but kept them ready for the event. Now he's crafting countless A class armors and weapons to make sure that Diamond Wolfves defeat True Gold, but even Duraralt knows that True Gold is not an easy target.
-Duraralt: “They dare to laugh at my skills of crafting. After this event, I'll be laughing at them! Not going to let that a bunch of traders that use a lot of little guilds defeat me!"
Duraralt keeps crafting and making equipment.
Adreilt is preparing sauces and testing dishes to find the best dishes to make a full lunch better than any lunch that can be prepared by any guild.
-Adreilt: “Not yet! NOT YET! This isn't enough! With this challenge, we must use all our ingredients to defeat any guild! We must defeat them! Geralt is counting on us!"

Meanwhile in Blaft office, Blaft is having a meeting with Martha and Jerome. Better said trying, because they are fighting over the most important places.
-Blaft: “I should have called other guilds... I should have. Why I ask the two guilds that in the end their masters are a couple!?" Come on... Calm down. We can share all.
-Martha: Calm down!? This jerk wants to be near the idol! For what!? For kissing her!?
-Jerome: Come on! I'm not like that... Not in public.
-Martha: Liar! It's totally the opposite! I won't share you to other girls! And if you try... you know what is next.
-Jerome: I won't!
-Blaft: (Angry) STOP THIS DAMN NONSENSE! THIS IS WORSE THAN ALVYN DOING A PACIFIST PARTY WITH ALL ANGEL'S PARADISE! JEROME, YOUR TEAM WILL WATCH THE NORTH ENTRANCE! YOUR FIRST CAPTAIN, IRON BUFFALO AND HIS TEAM GO TO THE WEST ENTRANCE!  YOUR SECOND CAPTAIN, PANTHER AND HIS TEAM TO THE EAST ENTRANCE! MARTHA AND HER CAPTAINS, YOU WILL WATCH CLOSELY MELLORINE! MARTHA'S GUILD WILL BE SCATTERED INSIDE THE CITY WITH THE MEMBERS OF JEROME GUILD THAT AREN'T IN ANY TEAM! GOT IT!?
-Martha: (Happy) Yes!
-Jerome: (Dissapointed) Okay...
-Blaft: “Now I understand why Duraralt hates leading... SO TIRESOME..." YOU ARE DISMISSED!
Jerome and Martha leave and Yatagarasu enters.
-Yatagarasu: And my work will be...
-Blaft: KEEP A DAMN EYE ON TRUE GOLD. AND ANOTHER ON OBORO. I DON'T WANT PARTY CRASHERS. NOT EVEN ONE. “And later I must give the invitations to the World Council... It can wait."
-Yatagarasu: Quite angry today, boy.
-Blaft: I have enough tiresome troubles to take care of a couple troubles.
-Yatagarasu: I know. Well, going to do the job.
Yatagarasu leaves and Blaft starts making a report of the situation for Beat, as any GM must do from time to time.

Well, I'm happy to have done this chapter! If I do another this week(which I think that no, surely I'll do it the monday) it'll be an special chapter. Of what? Well, I want to explain some things thanks to the latest news of Dreamland. Nothing extremely important, because I explained it on the last shoutout but I want to make it clear to everyone.
