The cloud of smoke was blown away by the gentle wind after the fight. It was a very calm atmosphere. If there wasn't a dead body of a giant monster in the area, no one would've believe that a huge battle just ended few seconds ago.
Tension left Leon's body, making him fell to the ground on one knee. His breathing was slightly ragged and few drops of sweat were visible.
We would need to increase our strength in case something like this were to happen again...
He exchanged <<Tiamat>>> with <<Misteltein>> and continued to be on guard. Since he was awfully tired, it would be harder to defeat enemies that might suddenly appear with a bow and opted for a sword instead.
Leon was about to use an EX Skill when he raised up <<Misteltein>>. Each class only has one EX Skill, it was the strongest skill available for that class. The warrior's EX Skill, <<Lux Aeterna>>, was a high damage skill which attacks anything and everything before the user in a linear path. The damage would be proportionate to the amount of HP and MP sacrificed. The maximum amount of HP and MP sacrificed would be 60% of the player's maximum HP and MP. It could still be possible to activate it without even sacrificing 10% but its strength would be considerably less.
However, for some reason, Leon was unable to activate his EX Skill. Fortunately, he was able to deliver the final bow in one hit with <<Skill: Final Fate>> and the Dragonbane, <<Tiamat>>. That divine bow has the ability to increase damage against ancient and dragon type monsters which allowed Leon to deal extra damage to the behemoth, an ancient type monster back in Grandeur Fantasia. He realised that his mana won't be able to hold up much longer since he had been using a lot of skills and magic during the battle and wanted to end it as quickly as possible. Thus was his decision. His worry was confirmed after checking his status.
