Chapter 82.5 ~ Charlotte's Morning

It was the morning after the day Leon went on a picnic with Freya. He was woken up with a slight movement in his bed.

For some reason, without even needing to look, Leon could already guess who was sleeping with him based on the size and how she was hugging.

"Good morning, Char."

"Uhn... Good... Morning..."

Charlotte yawn cutely and rubbed her face on Leon's chest. Leon stroke her silver hair gently and Charlotte began nuzzling back to his hand.

As he was spoiling Charlotte, he remembered something.

"Ah that's right. Char, I've noticed you eating less and less sweets. Are you okay?"

"...Uhn. Fine."

Even if it wasn't Leon, everyone would know that she's nothing but fine.

"What happened?"

Leon asked out of concern for his little sister.

"...There's only a few left of the sweets you make so I wanted to make it last."

Charlotte looked down with sadness apparent even if she was expressionless. Somehow, for some reason, Leon felt his heart ache when Charlotte did that. However, Leon smiled and held her closer to him to sooth her.

"Char, if you want more, just tell me okay? I'm very happy that you're not spoiled and selfish. In fact, you're a very good girl. Even though you want more sweets, you decided to not bother me."

Charlotte looked up to him and was met with a gentle smile of her beloved brother.

"So as a reward for being a very good girl, I'll make you anything you want today. Just promise me to not overeat. Even if we are level 100, it's not good to have that kind of habit. Understand?"

The cute little silver haired girl nodded repeatedly as her eyes sparkled and hugged her beloved brother tightly.

"Thank you very much, master~ I love you~"

"Uhn, I love you too, Char."

After a while, the two got out of bed and ready up for the morning.

"Then go wait with Freya and the others. I'll return soon with the sweets okay?"

"Uhn."

After nodding her head, Charlotte went to Freya's room to wake her up and get ready for breakfast.

Charlotte went to Freya's room and woke her up while Leon head towards the palace's kitchen.

"Excuse me, head chef. May I borrow a small part of the kitchen?"

A friendly middle aged man with brown hair turned and saw Leon.

"Ah, Mr. Misteltein! Of course, but what are you going to do if I may ask?"

Leon was introduced to David, the head chef of the palace, by Iris when they were touring the castle. Leon had been invited by David to the kitchen to taste test his new dishes ever since David tried one of Leon's cooking. Some of Leon's cooking have even been served to the royal family and became one of the staple menu for them.
