Chapter 62.2 ~ Banquet

"Excuse me, your highness. May I ask you a question?"

Leon spoke to her in low volume as they walk down the stairs.

"Of course, Leon."

"Is the man named Pavel attending tonight's banquet?"

His majesty said that it would approximately take about one month to finish reparations after the purifying of the mansion and gave all my friends a medallion which allow us to enter the royal castle. In addition to the royal dagger you bestowed to me, we would be able to freely enter the royal castle."

"I see... Leon, you truly are very wise."

"It is but a guess, your highness. I might be mistaken since there wasn't any conclusive evidence for my hypothesis."

Aria strengthen her hold on Leon's hand which startled him for a moment but then smiled back at her.

"Hm, so you will be living in the royal castle for a while, is it?"

"It's still not absolute."

"But when it is, make sure to spare some of your time for me, okay? I would to spend time with you and hear you call my name."

"...I understand, Aria."

Aria's eyes went wide for a moment after Leon surprised her by saying her name. She felt her heart beating faster and she could tell that her face was blushing based from the heat she felt on her cheeks.

"I-I look forward to it."

Fortunately, she managed to calm down and smile at him although her face was still flushed.

As soon as they reach the bottom of the stairs, Freya and the others greeted them.

"Darling, what were you talking about with the princess while smiling like that?"

Freya puffed her cheeks while crossing her arms as she interrogated Leon. Vyra and Lily were also similarly puffing their cheeks slightly and stared intensely at the two of them.

Before Leon could say it, Aria cut him off and then winked at Leon.

Although he failed to understand why they should keep it secret, it may be something she wish to hide from them. However, Freya, Vyra and Lily were his lovers. They were the women he loves, and it was hardly an excusable thing to spend time with other women without telling his lovers.
