Chapter 104.1 ~ Meeting the Crimson Lightning

Amaterasu fidgeted as she stole glances at Leon and the others. 

They all gathered in the living room. Amaterasu sat on a couch with Altria. Opposite of her were Leon, Aria and an incredibly beautiful, blonde-haired woman. 

Just from a glance and her presence, Amaterasu could guess that she was Freya, the healer of Crimson Lightning. She knew Freya has Goddess-like beauty from the rumors, but she was even more beautiful than the rumors credited her for.

Then on the other couch left to Amaterasu, a cute platinum-haired girl sat quietly while munching on a scone. She was Charlotte, an incredible support mage with myriads of support spells that could turn the tides of battle to her favor easily. 

Beside her, a black-haired feline beastwoman with a black kunoichi outfit sat silently. She was Vyra, the scout and peerless assassin of Crimson Lightning. The outfit she's wearing seemed to be a kunoichi outfit, the outfit used by the female agents of Bestia's intelligence department. But Vyra's armor looked vastly more beautiful and elegant, as if it were an outfit for balls and formal parties rather than an armor. The power emanating from it was also vastly beyond anything Bestia has to offer. It seemed to be even more powerful and tougher that even heavy armors.

But even more incredible was Vyra herself. Amaterasu was good friends with the best agent of Bestia intelligence department. She had been through countless espionage and information gathering missions, even assassination missions, and had perfectly executed all of them. But even her paled in comparison to the beastwoman before her.

Beside Vyra was a beautiful blonde-haired girl with a small smile ever present on her face. Her innocent appearance, just like an untainted lily flower, elicited the desire to protect her from all evil in the world, even from Amaterasu, even though she knew Lily was a prodigious marksman. 

On the couch to her right, a crimson-haired knight she had met once sat with a smile directed at them. After seeing Iris once again, Altria's words about her resounded in her mind again. She was truly a beautiful lady. She wouldn't have expected that Iris was a knight if not for the fact that she was Princess Aria's aide and captain of her personal guards.

Beside her, a cute, purple-haired girl sat nervously. Similarly, the brown-haired man beside her also seemed to be nervous. They were Mia and Rafael, an incredible mage and swordsman that could rival even the Royal Guard Commander and head of the Royal Court Magician.

The silver-haired man, Alex, who's sitting beside the brown-haired man, however, seemed to be calm. He even had a small, charming smile. 

Then on their side, a light blue-haired man was holding the hands of the light blonde-haired woman beside him. Her appearance exuded a very kind, gentle and calming aura, but her eyes reflected cheerfulness and excitement, while the man was quietly sitting down with a soft smile on his handsome face.

They appeared to be slightly older than Leon, not only by their appearance but also by the atmosphere around them. They had the air of maturity, kindness, and dependable, like an older sibling.

Amaterasu never saw or even heard about them. But judging by their closeness with Leon and the others, they must be at least a very good friend of theirs.

Amaterasu fidgeted, she was completely nervous in their presence. She was essentially in a room with the people she greatly admires and idolizes!
