Chapter 37.1 ~ Lily's Date

AN: I will be dividing chapters starting with this one into two or three parts. Since my time for writing has decreased due to UNI, one chapter a week is most likely my limit. But because I don't want you guys to wait that long for a new update, I decided to split it into parts and upload at least twice a week. "Let's go, Lily."

"Y-Yes!"

Leon and Lily wore the 'Necklace of False Appearance' and got ready for their date.

"Have fun you two."

"Tell me about it later okay, Lily?"

"Lily, don't do anything sly when you're with darling okay?"

"If anyone's gonna be sly, it's you..."

"Have a safe trip."

"Master, please bring back some sweets~"

"Okay. Then we'll be going."

The two exited the inn and started walking around town. Because of the necklace, no one in the inn hall bat an eye to a couple of people exiting the inn.

"Then, I'll also go around town. I want to know how they perceive yesterday's acting."

"Ah, that's right! Alex, follow darling and Lily secretly to make sure she doesn't flirt too much!"

"She's not you... And do you think I can follow master without him noticing me?"

"Tch, you useless..."

"Your tongue is really sharp when master's not here huh..."

Alex then began walking to the opposite direction from Leon and Lily and began collecting information.

"Then, how about we relax for now. We can't do anything anyway right?"

"...Fine."

Mia, Freya and the rest went towards the inn hall and began hanging out there. As usual they became the center of attention. In the beginning, they got uncomfortable being stared at and approached. But they still hanged out in the hall since it would attract customers.

It was their way of saying thanks to the owner for preventing many annoying people who approach them relentlessly from coming into the inn.

Because of that, they had a great relationship with the owner and his family. Especially, Carla who was the daughter of the owner and also the receptionist, got along very well with Mia and the girls. She often chat with them after she's done with work or on her breaks.

Today as well, they went to chat with Carla during her break. It didn't looked like a group of adventurers talking to a little girl, but more like a group of friends.

Though on the side, Freya was sighing from time to time.

"Hah... I hope darling is safe."

No, if something would've happened to him, it would be when he's with you!

Everyone of them thought that. It took Lily all the courage she's got to invite Leon to a date. If anything, Freya who would sit on his lap while facing him or burying his face to her chest would definitely be the more dangerous one.

Though they didn't actually say it and just continued talking with Carla

The street was less busy in the afternoon. There were still a lot of food vendors and shops open but compared to in the morning, there were less people.

Leon and Lily walked side by side. They were looking around for things or foods that might pique their interest.

Thanks to "Necklace of False Appearance', they were able to look around Lingenia without a concern. Or at least, Leon did.

Lily couldn't concentrate on looking around since she was walking so closely to Leon. Her face was already flushed since they left the inn, and now that they were alone, she became even redder.

Her heart was beating really fast and her hands were sweaty. Even a little touch from Leon when he accidentally bumped into her made her panic.

"Lily, is there something you want?"

"...E-EH?! I-I'M SORRY, WHAT WAS IT?"

"Hm? I was asking if there is something you want?"

"A-Ah! N-Nothing in particular..."

"Then how about we buy some snacks first? I'm sure it will make you more relaxed."

"Le-Leon... Okay!"

Happy that he noticed her nervousness, she smiled brightly at Leon.

Leon is so considerate...

She then realized that there was no need to be nervous. Rather than being nervous, she should have fun with Leon since it was a rare and long awaited date. She was happy to be with Leon, and she wanted Leon to be happy to. That's why she decided to make it a very fun date for the two of them.

They began visiting various food stall and bought snacks and desserts.

"Le-Leon, here. Say ahh..."

"Eh?"

Leon froze for a moment. Though he didn't know why he did. It was just someone trying to feed him. He had done this numerous times with Charlotte and he didn't get nervous.

But for some reason, when Lily was the one feeding him, his heart began beating faster. It also happened when she did the same thing before, and Leon still didn't know the reason.

Since it would seemed rude to her if he waited too long, he decided to just let her feed him.

"Hehe~"

Lily was giggling happily.

Leon is so cute!

Leon noticed that Lily was giggling at him. Although he didn't know why she did, he decided to do the same thing and feed her. Maybe that way he could find out.

"Here, Lily. Say ahh..."

"Eh?!"

Now Lily was the one flustered. She was happy but after seeing Leon's teasing smile, she began puffing her cheeks but still ate it.

"...Leon is unfair."

"Did I made you angry?"

"...No, but you're still unfair."

Lily acted mad and pouted, but then they burst in laughter together and continued walking around.
