Christmas was a big thing every year in your house, you always tried to make the most of it for your family as you quite often hosted the day.

The past couple of years you had fallen into a few routine due to you moving in with Aaron and Jack but it had been a surprisingly seamless transition.

Aaron had explained to you how he'd not really had a big Christmas day, even when Haley was alive, and that made you even more determined to make the best of it for Jack.

This year was slightly different as you and Aaron had gotten married over the summer so even though you were already living together and had spent Christmas together already, being married just made it that much more special.

Jack had agreed to try to stay in bed a little bit later Christmas morning, meaning you and Aaron could get some extra sleep, but the two of you were still wide awake at Jack's usual time.

"Merry Christmas Mrs Hotchner," Aaron whispered in your ear as he wrapped his arms around you from behind.

You smiled as he nuzzled his head into your neck. "Merry Christmas to you too."

He chuckled, gently gripped your waist so he could turn you to face him.

"What do you think Santa has brought you?" you questioned as you cuddled up to him.

Chuckling again he pressed a kiss to the top of your head. "I've already got everything I could ask for."

You rolled your eyes, but he still managed to make you blush. "You're such a cringey man."

He shrugged. "What can I say?" he asked jokingly. "I've got a gorgeous wife to bring it out in me."

Before you could say anything else, Jack came barrelling through your bedroom door and straight into the middle of you and Aaron on the bed.

"Can we go and see if Santa has come?!" his excitement was obvious, and you couldn't help but smile.

"Don't we get a Merry Christmas first?" you quizzed whilst you smiled at him.

He giggled, throwing himself into your arms before hugging you tightly. "Merry Christmas Y/N."

You smiled and wished him the same back; Aaron then took him off you to tackle him with tickles so you could get downstairs to get started on the coffee.

Once you got downstairs you saw the set up that 'Santa' had created at about 3am that morning and you knew that Jack just couldn't wait to get into it all.

As soon as you finished the coffee, Aaron came down the stairs with Jack in his arms and they both went into the living room.

Aaron let Jack go wild in his presents under the tree and then came to sit next to you on the sofa.

"Santa went all out this year," you whispered in Aaron's ear causing him to laugh.

He put his arm around your shoulder, so you cuddled up into his side. "Wait till you see what Santa got you."

Smiling you shrugged. "Unfortunately, Santa couldn't deliver your present just yet Mr Hotchner."

When his brow furrowed in confusion you went over to the tree to dig out the envelope that you'd put there for Aaron.

You handed it to him with a smile on your face and then waited in anticipation for him to open it.

"You're kidding me," he stated in shock once he'd opened the envelope.

He was staring at your 12-week scan photo that you'd gotten a week before Christmas – how you'd managed to keep it from Aaron you didn't know but the surprise was worth it.

"So, Santa will be making another delivery in about nine months?" he joked but you could tell his was happy.

You nodded with a smile on your face. "This time next year we'll have another little one to spoil."

"The more the merrier my love."
