Lex looked at her brothers and then she looked at her her mother, "Ma," Lex began as Millie looked over at her youngest who had scribbled down words on a napkin, "Why did you give us such generic middle names?" she asked as Jonah had slid himself next to her, his arm wrapping around her and kissing the side of her head before Lex slapped him away.
Millie looked at the two bickering before hushing them. Maybe because she was the youngest and she had to learn to fend herself from her brothers or because she was the only girl. Yet, her daughter was so quick with her tongue, ready to spit venom and clap back just as quick and harsh like her brothers. Jonah and Nolan always boasted that it made the boys stay away, "Will you two stop it?" she hissed out as Jonah got in one last head rub before patting her curly hair down and wrapping his arm around her again, "Why do you mean by generic, mija?" Millie asked
"Well for starters, you named Cousy, Francisco and mom we don't even speak spanish. Grandma doesn't speak english and here you have one of the whitest looking cubans named Francisco and we don't speak spanish." Lex belted out, "Cousy?" she yelled out waiting for her older brother to appear, "Do you have a middle name?"
Cousy appeared with his daughter in hand as he shook his head. The twenty-nine year old plotted himself next to his mother as he handed August Jo to millie, "No."
"and then Nolan's middle name is James and that's generic and you can't tell me otherwise and Nolan is the darkest out of all of us and again, we don't speak spanish." Lex continued as Millie raised an eyebrow at her daughter as Jonah narrowed his eyes at her, unsure of where she was taking this, "and Gorilla man is literally name Jonah and without a middle name and you popped me out and decided to name me Alexia Marie!"
"Alexia.." Millie began as she shook her head unsure of how to answer the question, "What even is the question? If I gave you all hispanic names you guys would've been made fun of because you don't speak spanish-"
"You named me Fransisco, mom." Cousy pointed out as Millie hushed him
"After your grandfather." she stated and then looked at Lex, "We got Alexia because originally you were suppose to be a boy and we were going to name you Alexander and we were suprised when they told us it was a girl."
"That explains a lot." Jonah laughed as Lex looked at him before punching his upper arm
"Shut your ugly mouth, asshole."
"or what, monkey face."
"gorrilla man." lex hissed out
"i'm not phased anymore."
"why? because you see your face in the mirror everyday?"
"no because i see yours."
