"Hey, Meg, have you seen Lex?" Haylee asked walking over to Megan who was getting a drink at the bar with Laura

"Last I saw she was walking down to the beach."

"I was just down at the beach and didn't see her. Hm. Oh well," Haylee shrugged, "I'm so glad we finally got to do this girls' trip!"

"Me too! Now, you have to tell us all about what's going on with you and Jonah!" Laura grinned.

"Okay," Haylee smiled back, "can I please get a piña colada?"

"Coming right up!" The bar tender nodded.

Haylee, Laura, and Megan went back to their cabana on the beach once they all had their drinks. Haylee filled them in on everything that happened between them lately. She was glad to see them so excited.

"So are you going to move in with Jonah?" Megan asked.

"We're actually going to look for a house outside of San Francisco. Jonah suggested that it might be a good idea instead of trying to fit four dogs in the apartment with us."

"That does make a lot more sense," Laura nodded, "I'm so excited for your move, but I am going to miss you so much!"

"I'm gonna miss you too, Laura!" Haylee turned and hugged her.

"On the bright side you're gonna be closer to Lex, Couz, August, and I," Megan smiled.

"That's so true! I'm happy about that."

"Have you told your parents that you're moving in with Jonah?" Laura took a sip of her drink.

"I think they figured I was gonna when I told them I had signed a contract with the Warriors," she laughed.

"What was their reaction?" Megan tilted her head.

"Absolutely shocked. They thought I'd sign with the Nugs again."

"We were shocked too! That's what we assumed would happen," Laura laughed.

"I wasn't sure what to do. The contract just didn't appeal to me that much. Especially since I had been over in London, and they seemed really happy with me before the accident. So I was really struggling about signing with them for three years."

"But you immediately signed a three year with the Warriors?" Laura raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. The contract was incredible. And I felt like they really wanted me in a way the Nuggets didn't. Plus they clearly had been thinking about it for a while. It just felt right. The Chase Center is a beautiful stadium, and to be honest, I had been kinda wanting to leave Colorado," Haylee explained as she stirred her drink.

"Well then I'm glad it all worked out," Megan grinned.

"Me too. I'm so excited! It's a new adventure."
