Chapter 15: Le Grand Guignol

Elijah and Maximo had taken Klaus back to The Compound, Papa Tunde's dagger in his chest.

His shirt was off, body on a bed, Maximo looking over the massive red wound and not liking it.

The long scar started in the middle of his ribs, delicate lines in multiple directions, on top of a faded version from his earlier experience - physical damage from the dark magic in the blade.

Maximo was trying not to feel bad about putting him in pain.

They'd needed to give Rebekah and Marcel a chance to run.

Elijah looked just as conflicted about the situation as his brother's eyes opened, breathing haggard.

"This was all you," His brother reminded him.

"Elijah? Max?" Larisa called out for them as she walked inside the room "What the hell happened to him?" She asked them.

"I stabbed him with Papa Tunde's blade so Marcel can take Rebekah away," Maximo confessed.

Larisa looked at him with wide eyes, before she looked at Klaus who was groaning in pain on the bed.

Cami had walked into the courtyard in a hurry.

"Camille!" Elijah called, gesturing for her to enter the room "Please."

Cami walked toward him and Larisa "Why did you call me? Have you found a way to help my uncle?"

"I can try, but first, I need your help," Elijah negotiated.

"I don't have time for games, Elijah. The hex on him is getting worse by the day," Cami said.

"My brother has a mystical torture device buried in his chest, and  the mother of his child is inexplicably missing. So, I can assure you, I  have no time to play any games, either," Elijah explained her.

Cami became more serious knowing that Klaus might be the only one who can easily find her help.

"What do you need me to do?" she asked.
