This was requested by alanaheck who wanted a Scott Lang one-shot with Cassie. I decided to do one where it's Career Day at Cassie's school; she also gets into a fight at school so the reader, who is her teacher, calls her parents in after school.

No warnings come to mind.

"Come in," you answer to the knock on classroom door; you had stayed after school both to grade homework assignments and wait for the parents of a certain student of yours to meet with you.

"Uh, hello, Ms. (y/l/n)," in enters Scott and his ex-wife, "Hope we're not too late," Maggie adds as he and Scott enter the classroom. "No, you two are right on time," you answer, "please have a seat." "So what's wrong, is everything alright with Cassie?" Maggie inquires once she and Scott get seated; Scott had a little bit of trouble adjusting since the chairs were kid sized, and moves around nosily till he gets comfortable. "Sorry about that," he awkwardly smiles, "please continue." "Uh right," you continue, "So as you already know I called you two here because of Cassie." "She's not failing is she?" Maggie asks wide-eyed, "Cause I always make sure she gets her homework done." "Same here," Scott adds, "I get her on the weekends, but I always make sure she gets it done before Sunday."

"No, Cassie's not failing, quite the opposite," you assure, "It's about earlier today, a fight had broken out during recess between Cassie and another student." "Someone fought with Cassie?" Scott inquires. "Uh no, Cassie was the one who started the fight," you correct, "From what I witnessed she charged this one boy and started hitting him." "Oh," Maggie seemed surprised, "That doesn't sound like Cassie at all." "No, it doesn't," you agree, "Since she's been in my class, Cassie has been a great student, she's bright and quite gifted to be honest. This acting out of hers is highly uncharacteristic. Is she having any trouble at home? Any of her homes? I know divorce and shared custody can be difficult sometimes on children."

Scott and Maggie exchange looks before answering, "As far I know...as we both know Cassie is doing well had both homes." "Do you agree on this Mr. Lang?" you turn to Scott, "It's my understanding you were under house arrest the last two years, that couldn't have been easy for her." "Well I guess it wasn't easy at first," Scott admits, "But I found ways to spend time with her, despite the limitations. And it got easier as the release date got closer. Cassie understood why I was in this situation, I think she's smarter than she lets on sometimes." "I think I agree with you on that one," you smile, observing Scott a little before refocusing, "Be that as it may, this is a serious matter. Since this is the very first time Cassie has acted out like this, she will be let off with a warning, but something like this continues she could be looking at suspension."
"Don't worry Ms. (y/l/n), we'll talk to Cassie, make sure this never happens again," Maggie assures, her and Scott standing up. "Yeah, don't worry," Scott interjects, "you can count on the both of us."

"Oh, uh Mr. Lang," you address Scott before he could the classroom, "Despite the situation, I trust you'll be here next Friday for career day. Cassie's been very adamant about you showing the class what you do for a living." "Really?" Scott seemed amused. "She is really looking forward to it, and to be quite honest....so am I." Scott seemed a little confused at first. "I'm a huge fan of the Avengers," you admit, rolling up your sleeve to reveal an Avengers tattoo on your left arm, "so to have one of them show up at this school it's a pretty big deal," you blush a little.

"I have to say Ms. (y/l/n), I never took you for the fan girl type," Scott smirks, "I mean when I first walked in you seemed more of the classy and...educated type. I mean I'm sure your are, seeing that you're a school teacher and stuff." "I see where Cassie gets her sense of humor," you chuckle, "Also I'd like to add, not as a teacher but as a fan, I don't agree with the accords or the whole reason you were placed under house arrest in the first place. You guys are heroes, and I think it was wrong to have the rest of the world treat you like criminals."
"Well to be fair, I was incarcerated in an actual prison before I became Ant-man," Scott attempts at humor, "It's nothing I haven't experienced before." "So I've heard," you chuckle, "Well I guess I'll be seeing you on Friday than Mr. Lang." "Scott," he replies. "huh?" you seemed confused. "You can call me Scott." "oh okay," you nod, "Than you can call me (y/n)."
