[Y/N] held a book in their hand. They sat peacefully under a tree near one of the many piers at Lotus Pier. A soft smile graced their lips as they read. They hadn't gotten much sleep lately and reading outside on a nice sunny day helped them relax.
A figure came bounding over to them, grinning like an idiot.
"Shut up."
"I didn't even say anything yet." Wei Wuxian pouted.
"Don't care. Shut up."
"Whats gotten you so sour today?" Wei Wuxian asked, tilting his head.
[Y/N] did not respond and continued to try and read, choosing to ignore the male.
Wei Wuxian furrowed his brows as he studied the person in front of him. There was light bags under their eyes as they focused on their book. They seemed more tired and worn out than usual.
"How much sleep have you been getting?" He asked randomly.
[Y/N]'s [E/C] drooped slightly before they shook their head, trying to keep themself awake. "I.. don't really remember... Maybe 3 hours in total..." They grumbled.
Wei Wuxian frowned. "You are going to sleep now."
"Eh?"[Y/N] looked up and blinked in surprise. Wei Wuxian snatched their book away from their hands. "Time for you to get some sleep."
"But.. I'm not tired..!" [Y/N] protested weakly. Wei Wuxian clicked his tongue and picked up the [H/C] haired person up bridal style.
"W-Wei Ying?!" [Y/N] shouted in surprise.
"Time for bed, A-[Y/N]." Wei Wuxian said sternly.
"W-Wei Ying?! P-Put me down!" They shouted and struggled weakly to try and get out of his grasp but he didn't falter.
"No. A-[Y/N], you're getting some sleep. Now."

▶ Honestly I have been doing a lot of female readers lately, nothing wrong with that, it's just I thought I might change it up a bit.
