Chapter 1

"Their name will be Arjen, Arien and Alice."

"Was it momentary whim? Instead of breaking our necks, he granted us name. That was our first memory of him. A voice as cold as ice and blond hair as bright as the sun.

"That was 5 years ago.. "

"... And now it's our fifth birthday.. " Arien mutters, looking outside at the window. "What's the point?" Arjen rustle from the blanket and look at Arien. "Arjen.. " Arien look at Arjen with a sad look.

"Big Brother Arjen is right, Big Sister." Alice get out from the blanket beside Arjen. Arien and Arjen turn to look at her. Alice lay down beside Arjen and look up to the ceiling. "Nobody cares about us." Alice said before look at her twins. "Hm.. That's true." Arien sighed.

"I͢ a͢m͢ A͢l͢i͢c͢e͢ C͢a͢t͢h͢e͢ri͢n͢e͢ Y͢u͢ri͢a͢n͢a͢. T͢h͢e͢ s͢e͢c͢o͢n͢d͢ P͢ri͢n͢c͢e͢s͢s͢ o͢f͢ t͢h͢e͢ E͢m͢p͢i͢re͢."

"Are you going back to sleep on our fifth birthday?"

"Aren't you going to subtract our past life?" Arjen asked at her. Alice look at them and sit up beside Arjen. "What are you two talking about? Our mental age is 25?" Alice asked at them. Arjen shook his head at them. "No! No!"

"Ha.. Fine then. Let's just count today as our fifth birthday." Arien sighed. "Alright." Arjen and Alice said.
