"Baby?" You heard Ryujin softly speak into your ear. "Y/N, darling, are you awake?"

You just mumbled something and shifted a little, your head resting on her thigh.

"Let's go up to bed. That sound good?"

You tiredly nodded your head.

You're completely exhausted after a very long and busy week.

You were supposed to watch a movie with Ryujin tonight but you were much too exhausted to keep your eyes open the entire time and quickly fell asleep with your head on Ryujin's lap.

"Come on, sweet girl. Sit up and we'll go up to bed." She said and you opened your eyes as she caressed your cheek.

You sat up, rubbing your heavy eyes to try and wake up.

But you felt so tired.

Ryujin stood up and held her hand out for you to take so she could help you stand up.

But you just shook your head.

"I'm too tired."

"You don't want to sleep on the sofa, though. You'll be much more comfortable up in our bed, where we can cuddle."

"Can you carry me?"

She couldn't help but chuckle.

Judging by how you could barely keep your eyes open, she knew you were serious.

"Okay, sleepyhead." She smiled and had you wrap your arms around her neck before she put her arms around you and picked you up.

She carried you up the stairs as you closed your eyes again, starting to drift back off to sleep as she held you securely.

You felt so warm and safe in her arms.

It felt as though you were floating on a cloud and when she reached the top of the staircase, she kissed the crown of your head a few times and you couldn't help but smile.

"Are you sleeping again?" She asked and after a few seconds, you answered.

"Yes."

She laughed and the feeling and the sound made you smile a little brighter.

"Here we are." She said as she stepped into the bedroom.

She turned on the light and gently laid you down on the bed.

Her soft lips brushed against your forehead and you opened your eyes slowly, your heart skipping a beat as you saw her starry eyes staring into yours.

"Hi, my beautiful girl," she grinned before kissing your forehead once more.

"Hi, baby. Thank you for carrying me to bed."

"Anytime." She said. "You know I'd do anything for you."

"I know. I'm lucky."

"And I'm in love with you." She said.

"I'm in love with you too. Now come here and cuddle me."

"Okay, darling," she smiled and turned the light off before crawling into bed with you.

She curled up under the blankets and put her arms around you to pull you as close as she possibly could.

You rested your head on her chest and shared a sweet kiss before closing your heavy eyes once more.

"Sweet dreams, sweet girl."

"You too, baby. Goodnight." You mumbled sleepily, listening to every beat of her heart as you drifted off to sleep, warm and cozy.
