Kicken Chicken fell asleep that night in a fitful sleep. He kept having nightmares.
"HOPPY!!!" He screamed reaching out his hand their paws touched, but only for a split second before Hoppy's hopeful smile became a frown of sheer horror as their fingers slipped. "HOPPY!!!"
Kicken Chicken woke up from the bad dream, tears in his eyes and shaking in fear. What if the others found out..? He couldn't fall asleep after that.
Dogday had a protective arm around Catnap as he slept. Catnap was awake, but he didn't dare move for even the smallest amount could potentially wake up his canine companion. "He needs the sleep" Catnap whispers as Mommy and Huggy look at each other before leaving. "See you tomorrow night guys" said Huggy waving. Dogday was tired, but Catnap wasn't. Usually it was the opposite way.
Crafty, Bobby, Bubba, and Picky all fell asleep after some time, they all had a long talk with Crafty, got all the apologies ready for tomorrow night's sleepover, and went to bed, early since they all had school tomorrow.
