The factory opened the next day, and all the Smiling Critters were asleep. Dogday was still cuddling with his smaller plush version. Catnap went to sleep at his own house for once since he spent so much time in Dogday's. Alya and Angel were excused from class since they spent all night looking for Hoppy, Hoppy was allowing Kicken Chicken and Picky Piggy to stay with them as they recovered a bit from their trauma, Craftycorn, Bobby Bearhug, and Bubba Bubbaphant were all having a sleepover at Bobby's house and cuddling on the floor after watching funny movies until they passed out.
Miss Delight always appreciated the Smiling Critters for their dedication to the students, but she would always allow them to rest when needed, she understood that just because they looked like plushies they were still human. Humans get exhausted when they don't have a full day of sleep, she learned that from Bubba a while back when they were talking about health, and why it's important to sleep. 'Catnap would have loved that class' she thought with a smile as she went into the classroom to teach. "Hello class, today the Smiling Critters will not be joining us sadly, they all are feeling under the weather today, hey, does anyone know what under the weather means?" Miss Delight asks her students as a few hands get raised. She smiles, and listens to every student's examples.
Dogday yawns loudly, arching his back, tail in the air, he stretches out. He stretches his back paws as the mini Dogday is near the door looking at him curiously, Dogday smiles and lets the mini Dogday run downstairs. He first checks on Alya and Angel to see them both asleep. He kisses both their foreheads before making his way downstairs to start on breakfast.
