Miss Delight stood at the head of the classroom, watching the students all get ready for the day. "Alya, glad you could join us again, Angel's missed you" she spoke smiling towards Alya as she walks in and runs to the back of the class where Angel is and hugs them tight. "I'm glad you're back" Angel said. "She's not the only one back" Miss Delight said as the door opened on its own, freaking out most of the students. "Surprise!" yelled Dogday bouncing into the classroom with Catnap right behind him smiling just as wide as he was. "DOGDAY, CATNAP!!" The students all cheered, and ran over to their favorite mascot toy duo to give them hugs before the class started for the day.
At recess all the students stood near Dogday the most. "You all want to hear a story?" he suggested to which the students all cheered for the story. "Once upon a time..." began Dogday. He continued it all throughout recess, some of the other students coming over to listen. By the end of the story every kid was around Dogday listening to the story as Catnap, Miss Delight, Kicken Chicken and Bobby Bearhug all watched with stunned expressions. "How does he do it?" Kicken asks. "He's magic with those kids" Miss Delight pointed out. Catnap laughs "Far from it, he's just very patient, and caring toward everyone around him" the feline smiled towards his friend. "True, that's what makes him a great leader, his big heart" Bobby says, as the others agree with her.
