As the Smiling Critters all said goodbye to Huggy Wuggy, Boxy Boo, Kissy Missy, Poppy, Bunzo Bunny, Mommy Longlegs, and walked to the school, they were somewhat slow. "Okay you two know what to say, your names, and scents, and if any of the kids make you upset let Catnap or I know and we will make sure you're okay" Dogday kept going over with Bitty Kitty and Sharp Charm. "Yes dad we know" Bitty Kitty said sarcastically but Dogday stopped walking to process. "Sorry!" Bitty Kitty apologized to him "did I make you uncomfortable?" she asked in a small voice. "Huh? No, of course not, I just wasn't expecting that" Dogday said as he ran to catch up with everyone. Bitty Kitty smiled as Dogday rubbed her head affectionately making her purr.
Ten minutes before the bell Dogday and Catnap made it into the classroom. "Alright you two can come in and meet the students" announced Dogday staring at the door making all the students look towards the door. To their surprise and delight two new mascots walked in smiling wide and waving to them all. "Hey everyone I'm Bitty Kitty, and this is my friend Sharp Charm" the siamese cat said gesturing toward herself and the porcupine as they both made their way into the room. All the kids cheered since they were going to be making new friends. As Bitty Kitty looked around the room her heart sank, three more empty chairs today. She walked over to Dogday as Sharp Charm introduced himself and whispered to Dogday "more students are missing.." as Dogday looked towards the back seats where the students who used to be the biggest believers normally sat his heart dropped knowing exactly which students were gone. He gently elbowed Catnap and told him to which Catnap responded with a frown and a head shake. A never ending cycle for the kids who got "adopted" never to return the same again.
