"So... Is it a boy or a girl?" Gwendolyn Stacy, a blonde haired woman from an alternate Earth, joked a bit. She was currently wearing her artificial symbiotic suit, looking at another version of Peter Parker, the one who belongs to the six one six universe. She watched as Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man, expertively moved through all of the machines and the scientific equipment that Empire State University had been provided with.

"Not funny, Gwen..." Peter stated, a small smile on his face. He was currently in his civilian persona, which granted him easier access to all the equipment that his current workplace provided him with. He watched as Gwen scratched the back of her neck, which made him sigh a bit. "Plus I had already made that joke before"

"What? Come on! How's that fair?!" Gwen could hear the slight chuckle coming from Peter, which made her relax her expression quite a bit. She had never been able to move on from the death of her realities Peter Parker, a person that she loved dearly. She always gets nightmares of that day, each day turning a bit worse. But she had been able to move on from it, all thanks to the Peter Parker she had in front of her.

"In any case, I think I know what is wrong with your symbiote" Peter said, gaining the attention of Gwen Stacy. Peter couldn't help but remember the good times he spent with his own version of Gwen, though he also remembers the pain and suffering she had also caused him. It turned worse when he found out about her children with Norman Osborn. "And you wouldn't believe what was wrong with your suit"

"Really?" Gwen was desperate to know if there was actually wrong with her symbiotic suit. She had grown attached to it, doing things that she couldn't normally do with a spandex outfit. So getting her symbiotic suit to function correctly was a must. "What did you find, Professor Parker?"

"You sure are as cheeky as I remember..." Peter said nonchalantly, unaware of the reaction that Gwen made to his comment. He was currently looking at a part of Gwen's symbiote in a probe. Sighing a bit, he turned to face Gwen, a sheepish smile on his face. "Your symbiote is suffering from a lack of cellulose. In other words, you aren't eating correctly"

A sudden silence enraptured the lab of the university that Peter Parker was working in. The two arachnid heroes looked at each other, no word said between the two. Though in a matter of moments, Gwen retracted her symbiote from her face only, revealing her short messy blonde hair and an expression of disbelief.

"You're joking... Right?" Gwen didn't want to believe it. It was so unreal just how simple the answer to her sudden fritz had been. But when she saw Peter moved his head negatively, it was the moment she remembered that Peter wouldn't lie to her, not with something that may endanger her in time of need. "Just great... My symbiote was being a bitch because it was hungry... Just my luck"

"Hey... At least you now know the reason for it" Peter stated, making Gwen nod. He moved his hand towards her shoulder, getting a side glance from the teenager beside him. He was older by four years approximately, and he knew that he didn't feel love for this version of Gwen. But he had to admit that previous feelings were surfacing, making him want to help her in any sort of way. "And I can make you a nutritional list of the food you may want to start eating, except you want professional help..."

"Thanks, Pete..." Unknown to Peter, Gwen was also experiencing the same thoughts as him. Her feelings for her world's Peter Parker, the one who had become the original Lizard, were escaping from the depths of her heart. She never wanted those feelings to return, since it only gave her pain and suffering as she remembered that it had been her fault that he was dead right now. "For this... And the hot dogs too!"

Peter couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the embarrassed face of Gwen Stacy. He remembered just how he was always able to make her blush, which transformed her nerdy and cute look into an amazing and beautiful one. He sighed a bit, shaking his head a bit as he tried to forget his version of Gwen. She had manipulated him into her game, one in which he didn't have any plans on returning. But looking at the younger and heroic version of the woman who had become his first love, he knew that the teen in front of him was the best version of Gwen.
