After a long and somewhat tiring train ride, (y/n) finally stepped out of the station, taking a deep breath of the bustling Tokyo air. She stretched her sore muscles, scanning the area for the familiar sight of Nekoma's red jackets.

"Hmm, I don't see anyone," (y/n) murmured to herself, a slight hint of disappointment in her voice.

Unbeknownst to her, a figure stood nearby, their presence unnoticed until their shadow fell upon her. Tilting her head back, (y/n) found herself face-to-face with the mischievous gaze and unruly bedhead of none other than Kuroo, Nekoma's captain. Kenma, engrossed in his handheld game, stood next to him, seemingly oblivious to the world.

"Looky here, I found myself a lost kitten," Kuroo sang, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

Rolling her eyes, (y/n) huffed in response, "I thought Naoi was supposed to meet me. And I've told you countless times to stop calling me that."

Ignoring her irritation, Kuroo shifted his attention to Kenma, "Hey, Kenma, look who's here."

"(Y/n)-san, it's good to see you," Kenma greeted her softly, his voice carrying a hint of genuine warmth.

A smile brightened (y/n)'s face as she replied, "Hey, Kenma! It's been a while. I'm excited to train with your team."

Kenma's eyes flickered with a spark of interest, a rare glimmer of enthusiasm breaking through his usually composed demeanor. "Yeah, it'll be fun. We've been looking forward to having you here."

Kuroo, sensing the subtle exchange between the two, couldn't resist teasing them. With an impish grin, he interjected, "Oh, look at you two. It's like a reunion of old friends. I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Kenma shot him a deadpan stare, clearly unamused by Kuroo's playful antics. "(Y/n) and I were just catching up. You know how it is."

(Y/n) chuckled, realizing that Kenma's dry humor had a charm of its own. "Yeah, just reminiscing about the good old times."

Kuroo pouted playfully, feeling a tinge of envy at being overlooked. Deciding to change the subject, he casually took (y/n)'s bag from her hands and slung it over his broad shoulder.

"I got this. You just need to tell us where you'll be staying," he declared, his voice filled with confident assurance.

Grateful for the assistance, (y/n) nodded and provided them with the address. She fell into step beside Kuroo and Kenma as they navigated the lively streets of Tokyo. (Y/n) couldn't help but let her gaze wander, captivated by the myriad sights and sounds that surrounded her. Kuroo couldn't help but chuckle at her childlike curiosity, finding amusement in her animated reactions. Meanwhile, Kenma remained mostly quiet, absorbed in his own thoughts, but every now and then, he would point out something of interest to (y/n), eager to keep her entertained along the way.

Together, the trio weaved through the bustling crowds, their camaraderie evident in their easy banter and occasional laughter. The journey to (y/n)'s accommodation became a delightful adventure, with Kuroo playing the role of a charismatic tour guide and Kenma offering subtle yet thoughtful glimpses into the city he knew so well.

As they finally reached their destination, (y/n) turned to Kuroo and Kenma, genuine gratitude shining in her eyes. "Thank you both for guiding me here. I truly appreciate your help. I can't wait to start training with the team."

Kuroo grinned, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, as he responded to (y/n)'s words of gratitude. "Hey, no problem, Kitten. We're always here to lend a helping paw, especially when it involves welcoming someone as interesting as you to our team. Get ready for some intense training sessions and lots of fun!"
