Perhaps it was the blessing of the goddess of luck. Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck Han Li's mind.

He swiftly rushed towards the bag that had been thrown far away. In a few quick strides, he reached it, bent down, picked up the bag, and swiftly tore open its mouth. From inside, he pulled out the amulet his parents had given him.

As soon as his palm touched the amulet, a sense of tranquility permeated his body and mind. The previous restlessness and discomfort vanished without a trace, and all the abnormalities in his body automatically disappeared, as if everything had returned to normal.

Han Li disregarded all the changes in his body now, simply holding the amulet in one hand and bringing it close to his eyes with the other, gazing at it intently.

After a long while, Han Li sighed and stopped caressing the amulet, shifting his gaze away from it. Unbeknownst to him, the trouble he had narrowly escaped was not "losing control of his cultivation," but rather the invasion of a cultivator's "inner demon." If he hadn't acted quickly and used an external object to expel the inner demon, he might have soon been invaded by it, controlled by hallucinations, and ultimately died in a frenzy. Of course, he only learned about this after embarking on the path of cultivation.

Han Li examined his body with his inner energy and felt that everything was fine. What surprised him even more was that his cultivation had increased significantly. Although he hadn't broken through to the fourth level yet, he had reached the peak of the third level, not far from the fourth.

Overwhelmed by this unexpected joy, a smile appeared on Han Li's face, but he quickly suppressed his excitement. He feared another perilous incident like the previous one due to emotional instability. He held onto the amulet pouch, intending to put the amulet back inside and keep it safe.

"Oh!" Han Li unexpectedly found something he had forgotten for a long time in the bag—a mysterious little bottle he had kept for several years. He had completely forgotten about this bottle, and if he hadn't seen it again now, he wouldn't have remembered it.

With his current knowledge and insight, Han Li had gained much more than four years ago. He had broadened his horizons through reading various books in Doctor Mo's room and had become much more intelligent due to the cultivation techniques. He could easily judge from the various anomalies that had occurred with this bottle that it was definitely a rare and extraordinary object with unusual functions.

What Han Li needed to do now was to thoroughly explore the value of this bottle and see if it was useful to him. He couldn't let it remain unused in the pouch and waste its mysterious properties.

Han Li took out the small bottle and carefully examined it with the eyes of someone four years wiser. Unfortunately, after scrutinizing it several times, he didn't make any new discoveries.

Not wanting to waste any more time, Han Li cautiously opened the bottle. The drop of green liquid inside was still there, unchanged from four years ago.

Han Li was well aware that all the secrets of the bottle might lie in this tiny drop of green liquid. It must have some special effect that he hadn't discovered yet. To uncover the secret of this liquid, he needed to find some small animals and conduct some cruel live experiments.

It was nighttime, and it wasn't convenient to go out and find live animals. Moreover, after the afternoon and the first half of the night's turmoil, Han Li felt very exhausted. Even if he found some animals, it would be pointless to conduct experiments in the dim light of the night without clearly observing the specific changes.

After careful consideration, Han Li decided to get some rest and sleep for the night. Tomorrow, after resting his spirits, he could conduct experiments without delay. Perhaps there would be a big surprise waiting for him after tonight, and he looked forward to it before going to sleep.

The next morning, after getting up and washing up, Han Li went to the large kitchen outside the valley and had a simple breakfast. When Doctor Mo was still on the mountain, the kitchen staff would bring his meals to him. Han Li had enjoyed the same privilege by being associated with Doctor Mo. However, now that Doctor Mo was no longer at Seven Mysteries Sect, the kitchen staff no longer delivered meals to him, which made Han Li feel sentimental about the kitchen's administration and sighed about the convenience of power.

After finishing breakfast, Han Li didn't leave the kitchen immediately. Instead, he found the person in charge of the kitchen and, for a few silver coins, obtained two lively gray rabbits. He brought them back to the God Hand Valley.

Back in the valley, Han Li tied the rabbits with ropes in a relatively spacious area in the medicinal garden and let them bask in the sun.

When the rabbits became parched and desperate for water, Han Li fetched a large white porcelain bowl, carefully poured the green liquid from the bottle into it, and mixed in some ordinary water.

The pea-sized drop of green liquid easily dissolved in the water, turning the entire bowl into a greenish hue. The verdant color gave off a deep chill that involuntarily sent shivers down one's spine.

Han Li lifted the bowl of diluted water and approached the thirsty rabbits, placing the bowl down beside them.

The rabbits, already dehydrated, eagerly crowded around the bowl, drinking the water greedily. Han Li didn't want them to drink too much at once, so when about half of the water was consumed, he moved the bowl away from them.

Holding the porcelain bowl in one hand, Han Li patiently waited for the rabbits' reactions, observing if there were any interesting changes.

After a short while, just the time it took for an incense stick to burn, the rabbits began to fidget restlessly. Their movements became increasingly erratic and vigorous. Then, their bodies underwent astonishing changes. Bumps the size of eggs began to protrude under their fur, gradually covering their entire bodies. These bumps merged into one, making the rabbits' bodies look as if they had inexplicably expanded, which appeared quite ridiculous compared to their small heads.

The rabbits' plump bodies only maintained their shape for a short while before slowly swelling up. As time passed, the swelling accelerated, as if their bodies were continuously filled with some kind of gas, expanding more and more rapidly. Eventually, their bodies ballooned into two large, round spheres, resembling two giant watermelons.

Watching the rabbits' bodies undergo such bizarre changes, Han Li was astonished. Everything happening before his eyes was beyond his expectations. While he had imagined the unknown liquid to be a deadly poison or a spiritual medicine that could enhance cultivation, he had never expected to witness such hair-raising scenes. The rabbits' bodies seemed to have been inflated like balloons, becoming terrifyingly grotesque.
