Piya had been working as his secretary since a month now. She was well settled with her work and loved her time there. Abhishek although was still unreadable to her.

She was in her room scrolling through her Instagram when she received a notification from the bank stating that her salary was credited.

She sat straight with a wide smile. Looking at her account balance she smiled and ran to the bathroom.

She went out shopping and got a beautiful bag and a watch for her parents and a pretty powder pink saree for herself.

She returned home and her mother asked her.

"Kaha gyi thi subha subha?"

Piya grinned and made her mother sit along with her father. Both of them looked at her confused.

"Ye aapke dono ke liye."

She said giving them their gifts and they looked at her proudly.

Her father smiled and caressed the watch. He had been wearing the same watch for over 10 years now. Piya felt emotional seeing him getting emotional. She could tolerate anything but his tears.

She then reminded her parents about the puja in the office. It was the company's 15th anniversary and a grand satyanarayan puja was organised where all the employees and their families were invited.

Abhishek was already at the venue taking a final look at the arrangements when he saw her walking towards him.

She was wearing a pink saree with loose pallu and open hair. Eyes adorned with kajal and lips painted in a beautiful shade of pink.

At that moment he remembered the song his brother was listening some time ago.

Aap iss tarah toh hosh udaya na kijiye
Yun ban sawar ke saamne aaya na kijiye
Kaali kaali zulfon ke phande na daalo
Hume zinda rehne do ayee husn walo

he stood in front of him with her ever pretty smile and greeted him. She then forwarded him a packet and that's when he realised that his change of clothes were here.

He thanked her taking the packet from her.

"Umm could you come with me? I'd need help with this."

He didn't know why he said that. He knew how to do it himself. Piya looked reluctant but nodded.

She followed him to the room and looked around awkwardly when he locked it.

He kept the bag on the bed and turned to her. He took out the shorts and went inside the bathroom to change.

Piya's eyes widened when he came out only in the shorts. Bare chested.

"Unm could you?"

He asked passing the dhoti to her and she nodded awkwardly.

With slow and shivering hands she started tying it around him. He pursed his lips to control his laughter every time she gasped because her hand or finger brushed his skin.

She pleated the dhoti and passed it to him. He raised his eyebrow and she said looking away.

"Tuck it inside."

He smirked and said.

"I don't know how to do it. Tum krdo."

She looked at him wide eyed. Did he just ask her to-

He burst out laughing at her expressions and she looked even more horrified.

What has gotten into him?

"You-you can laugh?"

She asked and he sobered up and raised his eyebrow in mock offence.

"What does that mean? Am I not a human?"

"No!"

She bit her tongue and continued.

"I-I mean. Yes. You are a human but you never laugh."

Abhishek smiled and took the pleats from her hands and said.

"I do laugh Piya. But only with people who I consider my family."

He said indirectly counting her as one but she smiled and nodded not taking it seriously.

It was after she was out if his room that she realised he had called her by her first name. For the first time. Everyone called her that but somehow her name from his mouth felt a little too intimate.

The puja started and Abhishek's whole family started it. Everyone then took the Lord's blessing.

During lunch everyone was gossiping with each other. Even the employees' families were indulged in chitchatting.

Piya too was having heff lunch with her parents when she felt a warm hand on her back.

She turned to see Abhishek's mother. Piya smiled and his mother smiled back warmly. She had met Piya quite a few times during the last month.

"Hello ma'am."

She greeted the lady who mock glared at her.

"How many times have I told you not to call me ma'am? Kabhi meri baat nhi manogi na tum?"

Piya chuckled looking down and introduced her to her parents.

"Mumma papa she is Mrs. Meera Chauhan. Abhishek Sir's mother. And ma'am these are my parents."

Meera smiled warmly and indulged the couple in a conversation.

Her phone rang and she excused herself. It was one of the clients who couldn't attend the puja and called for congratulating Abhishek.

"Sir."

She forwarded her phone informing him about it and he received it with his ever expressionless face.

"You must be bhai's new secretary. Nice to finally meet you."

She heard a voice beside her and saw a very familiar figure. She hasn't seen him ever but the similarity was too much. Anyone could say that he was Abhishek's younger brother.

"Jeet! And looking at me I know you must have recognised that he is my elder brother."

Piya nodded with a smile and returned his greeting.

"Piya!"

"You have a lovely name Piya. Not fair bhai! You never told me you have such a hot and beautiful secretary."

Abhishek was off the call by now. He glared at Jeet but the poor boy was beyong seeing that.

"Waise Piya I hope bhai tumhe jyada torture nhi krte. I mean I agree it's difficult working with him but he is q coconut. Hard outside but a softie inside."

He said with a grin and Abhishek's glare hardened. But who was he kidding. His glares never worked on his family.
