Time passes by like sand. It seemed like yesterday when Taniya had said yes for the marriage and today was their engagement.

She was officially his fiancee. He was too happy. He couldn't take his eyes off her the whole event and now he couldn't look away from the ring in his finger.

The ring that screamed that he was hers.

They were still in the hotel where the rest of the wedding functions and the wedding would take place.

He had a sudden urge to see her and looked around him. All his cousins were fast asleep tired by the exhaustion of the day.

It was 3am and he messaged Taniya trying his luck that she might be awake.

Are you awake? Mujhe double suit mai milogi? I want to see you.

He messaged and his heart leapt with excitement when she replied.

Abhi? Kisi ne dekh liya toh?

Everyone's asleep. Bas thodi der. Please. I'm waiting there.

He said and got up not waiting for her answer. She would come if she wanted to.

He opened the double suit booked for them to get ready. Two double suits were booked. One for the groom and the other for the bride.

He waited there and not even 5 minutes later she was there. Standing in her cute panda short night dress.

"Hi."

He breathed and hugged her before she could utter her greeting. He felt her melt against him and kissed her head.

"Are you happy?"

"What do you think?"

She asked instead as they say on the couch with her still in his arms side hugging him.

"I want to believe you are."

"I am."

She said and he smiled.

"I wanted to tell you something."

She hummed and he told her how he had seen her for the first time in the mall and lost his heart and mind over her.

She looked at him wide eyed but he continued. She didn't remember such an event.

He then told her how he couldn't forget her and when he saw her again in the cafe and that fall incident he got her information and very smartly sneaked in her biodata in the file his mother gave him.

"I know what I did is not really appropriate but I didn't know what to do. The moment I saw you for the second time I knew you were the one and I didn't want to lose you. And I don't regret that even 1%. I am in love with you Taniya. So much ki mai soch bhi nhi skta meri zindagi tumhare bina ab."

He confessed and she was shocked. She could feel that her heart had literally skipped a beat at his words.

"You-you love me?"

He smiled and nodded kissing her head.

"I don't know about love lekin I like you Randhir. A lot."

She whispered after some time and he grinned.

"I can work with that for now."

She smiled too which soon fell seeing the change in his expression. His eyes dropped to her lips and then back to her eyes.

Her eyes followed his movement and the atmosphere got heavy.

"Can I- can I kiss you?"

He asked and when she didn't reply anything for a minute he realised he might have rushed her.

He backed out gracefully and smiled.

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have rushed you."

He had just finished the sentence when he felt her hands clutch his t-shirt and pull him closer.

He looked at her closed eyes and slightly parted lips. It was an invitation. And who was he to decline such a sweet invitation.

He smiled and cupped her face. He kissed her forehead, her eyes, her nose and finally placed his lips on hers taking them in a slow, soft kiss.

He took his time kissing her. It was as he was taking his time familiarising with her mouth.

He kissed her with so much intensity and rawness that she started trembling with pleasure.

They pulled back and he had to hold her to prevent her from losing her balance even while sitting.

"I-that was-"

She couldn't form a straight sentence. He smiled and completed it for her.

"Perfect!"

She smiled and hugged him. He smiled and caressed her hair.

She looked at the time which read 4:30am.

"I'll have to leave before someone wakes up."

He nodded reluctantly and convinced his heart she was going to be his in a few days.

He opened the door and looked put for anyone. Finding the corridor empty he motioned her to go and she did.

Once outside her room she gave him a last look before heading in.

He knew he would now get to see her properly on their wedding day only.

Sighing happily remembering the kiss he sauntered to his room.

Two days later the two were tied in the bond of marriage.

It was their first night and Randhir knew he wasn't going to do anything. She was too emotional and too tired and he wouldn't do anything against her comfort.

The whole night he just cuddled her and lulled her into sleep.

Taniya couldn't have been anymore thankful.

A week later they went on their honeymoon and even then Randhir didn't try to initiate anything knowing she was not completely comfortable.

She couldn't help but fall in love with her husband and his beautiful nature.

He was so good with everyone that she felt she couldn't have gotten more lucky than this.

It was Randhir's 30th birthday in a few days and she along with his mother was thinking how to make it special for him.

"Kahi bahar chalna hai ya ghar pr hi kuch plan kre?"

His mother asked and she thought about it.

"Let's plan a one day picnic. Kahi bahar open mai. Randhir ko nature pasand bhi hai."

She suggested and his mother nodded and they started searching for good picnic spots.
