Its been a week since the three of them returned from the business trip. Abhishek was too happy these days which made his family suspicious of him.

Jeet had went full on detective mode and was trying his level best to find put the reason of his brother's too wide smile.

Abhishek on the other hand was sitting in his cabin as usual with a small smile on his lips. He was still thinking about the kiss they shared in Italy. He hadn't kissed her after that.

Just then he heard a knock on the door bringing him out of his dreamland and he cleared his throat allowing the person in.

His smile came back wider as he saw her walk towards him with her cute smile.

He forwarded his hand and she took it. He pulled her down on his lap making her eyes go wide.

"May I?"

He asked leaning in and she smiled looking into his eyes.

"You don't have to ask everytime Abhi."

"I have to. Just because we kissed once doesn't mean you want it everytime right?"

He said taking another piece of her heart and she cupped his face.

"You don't have to ask. Don't ask again. Just do it."

She said giving him the permission and he smiled kissing her softly. His one arm around her waist and the other lying carelessly on her lower back.

She arms around his neck as they deepened the kiss.

They pulled back and smiled at each other. He again leaned in and just as he pecked her lips the door was barged open and Piya got up from his lap with the speed of lightning.

The five of them stared at each other. Three with shocked and disbelieving faces, once with embarrassed face and the other with a nervous face.

Jeet's shock turned into a smirk and he looked towards Piya who was waiting for the Earth to split up and swallow her.

"So this was the reason if your over happiness bhai. I knew it kuch gadbad hai lekin Piya. You broke my heart yaar."

He teased knowing his brother very well and Abhishek didn't disappoint him. Jeet laughed hearing his brother's low growl.

"I-umm-I'll be back."

Saying that Piya tried to leave but Jeet caught hold her wrist and pulled her back.

"Arre arre arre! Kaha chali Piya bhabhi. Abhi toh karyakram shuru hua hai."

He said nuzzling her shoulder and teasing her while she blushed.

"Come on bhabhi ab sharmana chhod bhi do yaar."

"Exactly! Ab usse chhod bhi de Jeet."

Abhishek gritted out pulling Piya out of his embrace into his arms making her want to die because of embarrassment.

The next second his ear was pulled harshly by his mother making him shout.

"Ouch! Mumma?"

He looked shocked and cleared his throat.

"Kya kr rhe ho? Yaha boss hu mai."

He said making her hit his arm.

"Aur mai maa hu iss boss ki."

"Haan lekin aise Piya ke saamne toh nhi."

He mumbled leaning in towards his mother who slapped his cheek lightly making Piya chuckle.

It was cute to see the ever tough billionaire act all baby with his mother.

"Arre kyu nhi? Ab Piya bhi toh family hi hai na."

"Haan lekin phir bhi. Papa kuch bolo na yaar."

Abhishek resort to his father in the end but he simply raised his hands in surrender.

"Bhai keh toh sahi rhi hai na. Ab bhut jaldi you are going to propose her for marriage toh family toh wo ho hi gyi na."

Piya bit her lip shyly and looked at Abhishek from the corner of her eyes and saw his ears turn pink. He was blushing?

"Papa! We just started dating. Shaadi mai abhi time hai. We want to take it slow."

He said scratching his neck and his father chuckled patting his shoulder.

"You are my son beta ji. Slow word toh tumhari dictionary mai hi nhi hai. I know you. Welcome to the family beta."

He said the last part patting Piya's head affectionately making her smile.

Abhishek was sitting on the sofa of the living room shaking his leg in nervousness.

Piya stood in front of him behind the sofa where her parents sat. Her mother was smiling warmly at him while asking him to have snacks which he was trying to deny politely but when he saw Piya's assuring eyes he had some. Her father was a different story altogether.

The man was sitting with a blank expression since the time Abhishek dropped the news of his and Piya's relationship and his wish to marry her.

At the moment no one couldn tell that the man sitting here was a multi-billionaire and won hundreds of deals with his confidence and strong aura.

Today, he seemed like a normal man trying to woo his father-in-law. It was true though. He wasn't here as The Abhishek Chauhan. He was here as the Abhishek his daughter fell in love with.

He finally took a deep breath and said.

"Sir! Baat ko ghumaunga nhi. Naahi koi emotional speech dunga. I love Piya sir. And I want to marry her. Mai usse shayad aapse jyada pyaaar na de paau. Lekin usse kamm bhi nhi dunga."

He said sincerely and looked into her eyes which shone with love for him.

His father looked at Abhishek for a moment and then finally cracked a smile. He got up and patted his shoulder as a sign of blessing and left to his room making Piya squeal and hug Abhishek tightly.

He laughed and twirled her around.

Her father on the other hand looked at her baby pictures with a smile and tears in his eyes.

Since the moment she had completed her studies and started working he feared that he would have to part with her soon. The day would come this quick was something he never thought.

It truly is the most difficult moment in any parents'life. Sending a part of themselves away from them. Not waking up to her giggles and laughter. Not being able to listen to her scoldings when they do something.

Parents to a daughter are the strongest in the world❤️.
