Preeta was waiting impatiently for Karan's car to arrive. She blushed remembering their last encounter.

How shamelessly she had demanded him to kiss her and what followed after.

Karan was shocked to say the least. Did she actually say what he heard?

Preeta too was shocked. But she didn't say anything. When he didn't do or say anything and just stared at her in shock she slowly pulled away from him.

Karan came out of the shock and cupped her neck and pulled her closer to him. She looked at him shocked as he closed his eyes and leaned in smashing his lips on hers.

He moved his lips on hers and she closed her eyes feeling butterflies in her stomach.

He pulled back to look at her and she clutched his shoulder when he smashed his lips on hers again making her moan.

She gasped when he pulled her on his lap in one swift motion and her hands went into his hair.

She pushed his chest back when it was too much and she needed her breath. She looked at him with dazed eyes, flustered expression and heaving chest.

That was the last moment they spent together and now she was dying to see him.

She was sitting on the dressing table daydreaming about him when the door of their room opened and stepped in her dream.

She got up and looked at him with a wide smile.

"You're back!"

He gave her a brief look and she frowned. She thought he would be more loving towards her after their kiss.

"Did you not miss me?"

She asked pouting and he looked at her and said.

"I was away for 3 days not 3 years that I'd miss you."

Although he said these words, his eyes spoke a different story. She smiled and hugged him from behind making him release a small wavered breath.

"I missed you a lot."

She said and turned him around pecking his lips.

He raised his eyebrows at her bold move and asked her in a dangerously husky tone.

"Aren't you getting too bold, butterfly?"

She felt shivers down her spine and looked down.

"Umm-sorry!"

She mumbled and started moving away but was pulled back swiftly and a pair of hard lips descended on her soft ones making her eyes go wide in shock.

Karan pulled back after kissing her briefly and she bit her lip blushing.

"Mujhe kuch kaam tha."

She muttered and ran away making a smile make its way on his lips which dropped as soon as it came for he realised what he was doing.

Unknown to his own self he started changing. The emotions he had always considered as weaknesses started showing on his face.

Two months passed since their marriage and apart from kissing nothing has happened between the two. No conversation, no steamy moments.

Only brief, little kisses.

Karan was already in bed when Preeta came out after changing. She smiled and laid beside him with her head on his chest and arms around his torso.

"What are you doing?"

He asked and she smiled.

"Cuddling my husband."

He looked away feeling weird things in his stomach and his heart fluttering at her touch.

"I am not comfortable with too much touch."

Her smile fell and she pulled back.

"Oh! I am sorry. Mai koshish krungi not to come too close. Neendon mai bhut hilti hu mai."

She said and wrapped her arms around herself. He looked at her closed eyes and fallen face.

True to her words, she moved a lot while sleeping. Although she wasn't asleep, she was finding a comfortable position to sleep in.

When she faced her back to him and his eyes fell on her butterfly tattoo behind her ear, he lost it.

Turning to her face, he pulled her closer spooning her in his chest.

She gasped and moved to look at him but he held her firmly.

"Don't move. It's fine. Just sleep. Good night, butterfly!"

She blushed and relaxed against his touch.

Preeta was instructing the maid in the house cleaning. They had a puja the next day and Preeta wanted everything to be perfect.

"Ye kaunsa room hai?"

She asked looking at the locked door. She has never been inside that particular room.

"Kuch nhi mam. Ye store room hai. Purana kabad rakha hai."

The lady replied and continued with her cleaning.

"Iss room ki keys kaha hai?"

Preeta asked and the maid pointed towards the keys Preeta was holding. The maid helped her and Preeta entered in.

She coughed due to the dust and put her dupatta on her nose.

She walked inside looking at the stuff. It was actually waste. Preeta thought to get rid of it. It is not good to keep waste in house.

She was moving back out when her eyes fell on a frame. It was photo frame. She cleaned it with her dupatta and gasped.

It was a family portrait. Looking at the picture she could tell it was her father-in-law and her husband along with another lady who seemed like his mother.

But why was such a beautiful picture aming waste items? It should be put on the walls.

Now that she thought she realised that she did not even know how her mother-in-law looked before this. There wasn't even a single picture of hers in the whole house.

Preeta grinned taking the picture with her. She would surprise her husband.

He would be so happy to see his mother's picture. She quickly hid the picture in her almirah.

She would show it to him when he returned home in the evening.

Karan returned in the evening with his father. The three of them had their dinner.

Preeta was really excited to show him what she had found.

Karan was in the room checking his mails on the phone when she entered with a grin.
