Naziya had been thinking about how to talk to Ajiya about it. She was close to Ajiya no doubt but their age difference was too much.

She being 10 years younger than her cannot suggest her or explain her such important things.

It was almost midnight and Naziya was out in the kicthen to fill her water bottle for the night when she saw Ajiya come out of the study.

But what caught her attention was the shy smile and the beautiful blush on her face.

"Yw aapi itna blush kyu kr rhi hai? Inka aashiq waashiq hai kya andar?"

As Ajiya went to her room Naziya tip toed to the study to check who was she blushing for.

She saw Armaan lying on the couch sleeping. A duvet covered him.

He usually fell asleep on the couch in the study while working and everytime he had woken up with a duvet over him.

Armaan always thought it was his mother. Naziya gasped as she realised it had been Ajiya all along.

And the blush and shy smile on her face was a clear indication. Ajiya liked Armaan.

Shocked at the realisation Naziya ran to her room and slumped on the bed.

"Aapi bhaijaan ko pasand krti hai. Isliye wo shaadi ke liye taiyar nhi hai."

She decided to talk to Ajiya the next day. Now she knew what to say.

So the next day after dinner Naziya went to Ajiya's room to talk to her.

"Aapi? Mai andar aa jaau?"

She knocked on the door and hearing a positive reply entered in. Ajiya was sitting on the sofa and doing her work.

Her workaholic aapi. She thought and sat beside her.

"Kya baat thi? Aaj bade din baad hamari yaad aai aapko."

She teased and Naziya pouted. Ajiya chuckled and Naziya observed her elder cousin.

Ajiya had always been a role model for Naziya. But she could like her brother romantically was something she couldn't have imagined even in her wildest dreams.

"Aapi?"

Naziya started and Ajiya hummed still looking into her laptop.

"Aapko nhi lagta ki itna time ho gaya ghar koi shaadi nhi hui. Matlab abhi toh meri bhi studies just start hui hai toh jyada pressure nhi hai. Toh matlab agar aap abhi shaadi kr lo toh mai full enjoy kr paaungi. Aap shaadi kr lo na aapi."

She started off in a teaching manner but finally whined in the end. Ajiya's fingers on the laptop stopped and she turned to her giving her full attention making her squirm in sudden nervousness.

Her aapi was in serious mode. And a serious aapi is a dangerous aapi.

This had been Naziya's mantra since always.

"Kiske kehne pr aayi ho yaha?"

Ajiya asked. She knew Naziya would never talk to her about this on her own. Someone definitely used the child for their selfish benefit.

"Ammi ne? Baba ne? Ya chachijaan ne?"

Naziya pouted and shook her head at being caught.

"Jo bhi tumhara contracter hai kehdo unse ye sab krne ka koi faayda nhi hai. Mujhe jab shaadi krni hogi mai kr lungi."

Now Naziya couldn't help but utter what she had realised.

"Aapi? Ek baat puchhu toh aap naaraz toh nhi hongi na?"

Ajiya motioned her to go on and Naziya slowly asked.

"Aap Armaan bhaijaan ko pasand krti hai? I mean as in romantically?"

Ajiya looked at her shocked. Was she that transparent? Does that mean her parents too noticed? Did- did Armaan also notice?

The thought made her heart race with anticipation.

"Mujhe laga hi tha kal aapko study se bahar aate dekhke. Aap blush kr rhe the. Aur ab aapka reaction dekh kr confirm ho gaya. You like him."

Naziya said breaking her thoughts. So Armaan didn't know.

"Naziya! Tum abhi bhut chhoti ho ye sab samajhne ke liye. Meri tension mat le. Aur kisi ko kuch batana mat. Ye meri problem hai. I'll deal with it."

She said kissing her head and Naziya went to her room with a sad smile.

She knew why her aapi called it a problem. Her bhaijaan was younger than her aapi and people would not take it in good way.

The next day she went to Armaan's room and gave him his money back. He was shocked.

"Kaam nhi ho paaya aapka. Ye raha refund."

She said and started going out.

"Naziya! Kya baat hui?"

He knew his sister. She was never this obedient.

"Aapi ki feelings ki value nhi laga skti mai bhaijaan. Wo aur unki feelings bhut precious hai mere liye."

She said and moved out. Armaan was confused.

"Maine unki feelings ki value lagane thodi na bola. Pagal ladki hai ye bhi. Ab lagta hai himmat tujhe hi krni padegi Armaan beta. Ya Allah mujhe himmat baksh."

He muttered and moved out for the day's work.

He decided to talk to Ajiya tonight. After dinner he would talk to her. Yeah! You can do it Armaan. Bina haklaaye (stammering). He motivated himself.

Only if he knew how the night and the conversation was going to change everything for them.

After dinner Ajiya moved to the terrace because she didn't feel like working and wasn't sleepy either.

Armaan went to her room to talk to her. He knocked but there was no reply. He knocked a few more times before saying.

"Ajiya? Mai andar aa jaau?"

He said entering in but found no one.

Frowning he moved to the study in a hope that she would be there.

His frown deepened when he found the study empty too.

Maybe she was on the terrace. He thought and proceeded towards the terrace.

She stood near the railing with her arms hugging herself and staring into abyss.

She felt a presence near her and turned to see him walking towards her with a nervous smile.

Her heartbeat fastened and she tucked her hair behind her ear turning away to hide her slight blush.
