having a baby is out of the question for a long time until the two of you are finished with your jobs in shinra and have helped the world become a better place. the two of you want your baby to grow up in the best environment possible, and unfortunately the sector 7 slums, despite the strong sense of community, is not that place.
it's wedge who suggests the two of you should get a furbaby, and of course he naturally suggests a cat, but the two of you happen across a puppy one day on the highway after returning from topside. biggs doesn't even hesitate for a second before gathering the puppy up in his arms and taking him back to your home to look after it.
biggs is the perfect dog-daddy. he'll play with the pup for hours and hours, gives him a fuss whenever he comes back home, brings him into bed when the two of you are waking up. he absolutely adores the dog and treats him like it's actually his baby, and judging by the love he smothers the pupper in, you know biggs will be a phenomenal father.
