Chapter 141 - The blooming Capital

Crocus was a beautiful city.

There was no other way of saying it. Beautiful flowers of all kind of names were visible at every corner the eye could see and the energy that was around the city was very contagious. The people were laughing as they were enjoying the festival that was being thrown as an entrance for the Grand Magic Games that will start tomorrow.

I have never been to Crocus myself, but seeing how joyous everything is, it made me sad that I haven't visited it sooner, but I do know deep within myself that part of the joy was the excitement everyone has for the Grand Magic Games. I have heard the talk of many Guilds that were usually participating, and everyone was favoring Sabertooth to be the winner again this year considering they have won the Games last year.

The name Sabertooth was familiar after all, it used to be a small time guild back before the seven years time skips that had happened they had risen up to be the top Guild in the entire continent of Fiore and I had found myself quite surprised at how much they have grown.

I could feel a smile coming on.

Leaving the samurai had been a heartwarming experience. Totomaru had sent me off with the promise of winning for him. Law, despise, his advances, had become a dear friend. He knew that I couldn't return his feelings for him. Mai, however, was glad to send me off with a bunch of clothes that she had brought with me telling me that I needed to wear more girly clothes and the kimono were so beautiful that I didn't have the heart to refuse them…and the girl within me couldn't help but admire the quality work that they were.

And it was the reason I was wearing one of them right now.

It was a short sleeved blue kimono with patterned flower designs upon it. It was one that Mai chose for me to wear today saying that I always have to be pretty and she did my make-up as well and I couldn't help but lick my lips whenever I could and taste the small peach flavor of the ones she had given me. I had RuneSave on my waist as it was now in it's katana form. Staying with the Samurai and training with their blades, it had done quite an influence on my sword play thanks to the training that I had with Law and the others.

A small smile grew upon my lips when a nearby shop keeper approached me and gave me a flower necklace around my neck.

"A pretty necklace for a pretty lady," he said.

"Thank you," I told him giving a small smile.

The flowers were a bluish red color shining around me as they caught up in the sunlight that was beaming down upon me. I smiled and thanked the man again as I moved forward aiming straight toward the street and walking down it by myself. Now all I have to do is fine the rest of the guys. It made me wonder how Juvia and Gajeel are doing right now…if their training had gone as well as I thought it would. It also made me wonder about Lucy, Gray and…Erza as well. It had been a full two months since I last saw them…

It's going to be a blast to see them again, I thought a light smile working its way upon my lips.

"Eve?" a surprised voice called out.

I instantly turned toward it.

"Laxus?" I answered, surprised.

It was the tall man. Laxus Dreyar stood across me with both of his arms crossed upon his well muscled figure. The young man was wearing a tight black shirt was showed all the muscles that he had and he even had a six pack as he stood there, looking at me with surprise. His traditional fur coat was seating upon his shoulder, dancing lightly behind him as he walked closer toward where I was.
